Dear Hancock County Residents,

 It is with profound conviction and a heart full of purpose that I announce my candidacy for Sheriff in the 2026 Republican Primary. Inspired by the timeless wisdom of Carl Jung—"The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are"—I am stepping forward to embrace my true calling: to serve as your Sheriff, safeguarding our community with integrity, courage, and a steadfast commitment to the values that make Hancock County home.

 As a 17 year resident of Hancock County, I have developed deep roots in our community. My journey in public service spans decades, shaped by my time as a Detective with the Indianapolis Police Department and as a Security Police Specialist in the U.S. Air Force. These roles honed my skills in law enforcement, leadership, and crisis management, preparing me to address the challenges we face today—rising crime, the opioid crisis, and the need for a sheriff’s office that bridges divides through community engagement. My work as Chairman of the Board for A Better Life - Brianna’s Hope, a statewide addiction recovery group, and my recognition as The Best of Hancock County Volunteer/Community Supporter in 2021 and 2022, reflect my dedication to fostering hope and resilience in our neighborhoods.

 My vision for the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office is rooted in our shared Republican principles: personal responsibility, limited government, and the rule of law. I aim to implement proactive community policing, ensuring our deputies are equipped with cutting-edge training and resources to keep our streets safe. By strengthening partnerships with schools, businesses, and faith communities, we can prevent crime before it starts. I’m committed to addressing the strain of illegal immigration on our resources, supporting our first responders with mental health initiatives, and ensuring every resident feels secure in their home. My extensive experience in program management and data analysis will drive efficient, transparent operations, making our sheriff’s office a model of excellence.

 Beyond my professional qualifications, I am a husband, father, and neighbor who finds joy in the simple moments—volunteering at local events, supporting our churches, and raising my family in the heart of Greenfield. My campaign is not about chasing fleeting trends or online applause; it’s about real, local impact. I’m leveraging modern tools—webcasts, YouTube, my podcast Never Ending Faith, and platforms like X—to connect with every voice in our growing county, ensuring no one is left unheard.
